KIB Tank monitoring system

New to posting so forgive me if not in right spot. Our new 2018 Rockwood ultralite has a KIB Monitoring system. What will cause it to suddenly show all 3 tanks empty, when we know for sure they are at least half full?
Check it a little while later and the levels look ok. Any advice/feedback would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. May be that you have lost the ground for the system.

Welcome from Arkansas. There has been a lot of discussion about the monitoring systems not working properly. I as you suspect a loose connection. You might pull the KIB panel and check for connection. Normally they come together at the panel and at the floor under the RV... or you could "let it ride" till it happens again.

Just to be sure; when you press the tank button the "E" light comes on, but no others; right.

If all 3 tanks are reporting empty when they are not; there could be a ground wire problem.

if NO LIGHTS illuminate on any tank, there is a power problem.

On the off chance that you have a new style computerized panel like below, there is a system reset button that you can try.
