Leaky Frameless Window

I have discovered a small leak in our front frameless window. I have checked the roof and the fiberglass front cap just in case either is the source of the leak and appear fine. So the question is: has anyone removed one of this and addressed a similar situation?

I had an issue with mine. Leak was on the side of the window. I had my dealer look at it under warranty. They told me there was a minor fold in the rubber seal around the window, probably from manufacture. They pulled the window, smoothed everything out and reinstalled the window. Been fine ever since.

To minimize damage before the repair, I ran a strip of clear packaging tape across the top and down the sides of the window on the outside. That stopped the leak until it was repaired.

Thanks SailorSam,

I'm hoping my issue is similar and thus an easy repair. Just curious what I'll be getting into once I start removing the inner window metal frame.

PS. Will take the precautionary steps of temporarily sealing the window on the outside til the repairs are done. Thanks!

SailorSam, well you hit the nail on the head, same culprit as yours (at least I hope so, but pretty confident after a throughout test soaking there's no leak!)

The seal had slipped off the window lip that makes contact with the fiberglass cap, it was still quite pliable so was able to move it and reattach it easily.

Thanks again!
