Leave the TV on the wall or take it down?

We just got our 2018 Mini Lite 2509s We're so excited!!!
Anyways, what do you guys do with the TV? Our PDI guy said it was fine to leave on the wall, but that seems like a LOT of bouncing and movement while traveling. Other RV'ers said we should take it down and store it safely.
As an aside, DH thinks the Furrion TV is terrible - ours actually keeps shutting itself off if we don't have it in one particular position on the wall. DH says instead of troubleshooting the Furrion, he'd rather replace it with a nicer TV...has anyone else done this? (Yes, we're aware the Furrion is warranteed, but DH doesn't care, would rather just replace)>

I think it's made to ride on the wall...I have two on mine. I would not hesitate to replace with a quality TV if the opportunity arises. You can buy one for $200 these days.

We have the Furrion in the bedroom we leave on the wall. They are supposedly made to take a lot of abuse. The mount is solid and there is no movement. In the living room I have a very large Samsung on a mount with an arm. We don't travel with it up. I take it off and lay it face down on the bed.

And I hate the Furrions but until it dies and the back up dies, it's what I'll use in there.

The Furrion in our TT works great and I have no complaints. That tv stays on the wall as the Furrion is designed to take the vibration. That being said, I hate the remote. The channel and volume controls are on the opposite side of ever other remote I’ve ever used. I’m constantly hitting the channel when all I want to do is adjust the volume! I do have a Samsung 32” tv in the bedroom that I take off the wall every time we travel. I store it on the bed.

I leave both my TVs on the wall. My take its a travel trailer if you have to take installed equipment off the wall to travel they shouldn't be there in the first place.

in my opinion - DH is correct.
Furrion is junk. and if you have a Furrion DVD player its even worse. non Blue Ray, cant seem to set time on the clock, they have RCA 1980 style outputs .it was fun (not really) opening boxes for the 32 inch TV we replaced ours with that had RCA inputs. everything is Component video or that new thing HDMI?

We leave our 3 TV's in the Toy hauler in the summer time and remove them for winter storage. mostly so they don't get stolen.

I donated the Furion TV to a veterans group. I mounted a 48 inch in the same spot at the 24. (Note: added bigger screws/cross member 1x4) I have nearly 20,000 miles in 9 months of travel and it has affected nothing and it has bounced a ton trust me.

I think you should be fine. For me I found the furion pic quality lacking.

we have a jensen that would be very hard to take down every time. It seemed wobbly, so now on our close checklist- is we take small throw pillows and secure it in place

I leave mine on the walls and take the walls with me.

Oops, I forgot that I don't tow mine, I guess alzheimer's is kicking in.

But I still leave the tv's on the walls all year.

DO you think she doesn't care because you never turn the remote over to her? My DW is considering having our remote surgically implanted in my arm😲

I have one on the wall it came with straps that are to strap it down while in motion and I do strap it down.

I also have a TV in the bedroom that hangs from the ceiling over the bed. I always take it down and lay it on the bed. It is easy to take down

My TT only came with one TV. The one in the bedroom came from my previous TT. When it went bad I replaced it with a Samsung smart TV. I liked it so much I replaced my primary TV that came with my trailer with a slightly larger Samsung.

The original TV was a "Legend". it was just OK. I switch it out while at a state park and I gave the "Legend" TV to the family camped next to me.

We've always left ours on the wall. We had a Furrion in our MiniLite and I did use Velcro straps to secure it so it wouldn't pull out from the wall when traveling. The Continuous (I think that is the brand) in our Wildcat TT has a bracket with a clip so it doesn't move when traveling.

TV Mount

I have a 24" Furrion that has a rubber-U-shaped-bracket that is supposed to be pushed onto the existing round, metal post area for traveling. Just pops out when we get where we are going.

PAW bracket ? remove. Actual TV wall mount ? leave it. I tossed the PAW bracket and installed real ones.

Best thing that could happen is that you leave it on the wall and for some reason it breaks, and you have an excuse to replace it :-) That's what I keep hoping for at least.
