LED overhead light replacements

Rockwood 8289WS (or Flagstaff equiv.)

The second overhead LED ceiling light has failed. These are the 3-inch circular, flush-mount light fixtures used over kitchen countertops and bath vanity.

Anyone find an economical replacement with some online merchant like Amazon? Last one I bought from Forest River was $47 plus shipping. Ugh.

Thanks!

My concern also

I just began to enjoy LEDs after replacing all incandescent "bubs" in our trade-in trailer. This was not something I wanted to read about.

If you were allowed to keep the old bad one, information on that would hopefully be a lead to aftermarket. You may need to look into different fixture completely.

DW and I just placed order for our trailer and have not gotten confirmation on that yet so very new here. I'll keep watching and hope you get a helpful response. Three of my requests have no "bumps".

Your location

I just noticed Livingston, TX. Mother-in-law had 30 acres up Caney Creek near Sabastapool and decided to sell as we could not keep up taxes with kids and college. Disgusting now!!!!!!!

I think the OP is talking about these

LED Disc Bulb, 9 Diode - Diamond 52614 - Light Bulbs - Camping World or LED Replacement Bulbs - G4/JC10 Disk, Single - Husky 51211 - Light Bulbs - Camping World

I saw one on the self at my dealer but don't remember the price. The problem with just any old replacement is matching the color temperature and brightness of the others - these are usually in pairs. Neither of the bulbs at the CW links above have the exact same configuration as those in my Rockwood (6 LEDs in a circle). You just don't know where FR gets them so that you can buy the same.

The website I posted has those for $7.99...in my opinion it is silly to buy things like this from Camping World as they mark up everything in their shop. (From what I have seen)

I concur. You can also get 18 of the 1156 style for $20 on Amazon and they are good lamps.

I realize CW is not the low-price leader - they just have convenient links to show what your referring too. In this case, I intended to show the general concept of the LED disk bulb since most people seemed to go off talking about the wedge replacement bulbs which are not what is in these fixtures.

I also wanted to warn of the dangers of just buying something that fits - its very hard to match an OEM LED with something bought off the internet unless you know its exactly the same part.

Since these fixtures are usually installed in pairs on the same switch and there are usually multiple pairs in the room, one oddball will be very obvious visually (and SWMBO will call you an idiot - ask me how I know!).

Just bought a quad of T10's from eBay to replace my 921's in my Solera. Got them from an American distributor (Chinese made tho, of course). They all fit, worked (no flicker) but did not have enuf SMD's on board. Got them for around $4.79 which wasn't too
risky. Anyway, am looking for the BRIGHTER versions now and see that a few companies
offer the same style but with MORE than twice the SMD's on board. Think I saw a 10-pack of the
68-SMD variety (plug-in's) vs. the four 24-SMD's that I "experimented with". These run for around $13- for the set, or better yet around $25- for...
20X T10/921/194 RV Trailer 12V LED Lights Bulbs 68 SMD Xenon 6000K White. If these are bright enough then will let you all know. Minimal amp. draw on the batteries(off-grid) and
hopefully around a 40-60W comparison as far as output? Am trying to find out the
equivalent lumens of these too. News @ 11, as they say!
