LED Safty Flares

Deb found these little safety flares on Amazon.
They strobe super bright & have magnetic backs.
I know we will feel much safer changing a tire anywhere now!

That's a great idea. I'll have to look at these a little closer.

We have a set of similar flares - consider getting the ones that can withstand being run over by trucks LED Traffic Flare Amber : Amazon.com : Automotive

These come in a rechargeable version as well and are bullet proof. We also use them for playing bocci in the dark - very fun.

Those look great! I need to get some! What a great idea in case you do have an emergency stop! I guess those just set on the ground?

Just don't put 2 sets (6 lights) on the bumper or the weight police will get you!

Did anyone read the Amazon reviews regarding the batteries not fitting, or fitting too tight.

Can someone that ordered them recently post if that problem is corrected please?

On ours they were nice & snug, they weren't too tight.
I always spray the contacts with T-9 in case of a battery leak.

The lights are a great safety aid, but fall short of being able to deflect vehicles. I have spent alot of time on roadways and found markers and cones to simply be early warning devices to bad drivers heading your way. Emergency vehicles get hit every day despite their warning lights. Please spend a little money for roadside assistance and have patience enough to wait. Many drivers are not driving the car, it's driving them!
