Length of Rockwood 8281SS

I have a similar post in the Flagstaff section, but since Rockwoods and Flagstaffs are twins, I thought I would post the same question here for anyone with a Rockwood 8281SS that may not frequent the Flagstaff section.

We are looking at a Rockwood 8281SS or Flagstaff 8528BHSS, but would like to know the total length. The web site says 30'-3", but I need an exact measurement from the front of the hitch to the back of the bumper (and spare if equipped). We only have 32'-6" to park it inside, and I don't want to order it, only to get it home and find out it is too short!

Does anyone have one of these models (the new one with the second bath and bunk slide) that they could measure for me? I would really appreciate it!

Thank you!

Not sure what toi tell you I think those might both be the same length? One thing to think about is, I have a pop up now...(trying to sell befor my 2702SS comes in) and to get it to fit in my garage I take the spare and bracket off the actual trailer.

maybe if you don't order it with the rear lader and the spar can be removed maybe this is an option?

Thanks for the reply! Yes, the Rockwood and Flagstaff should be the same length.

And if necessary, I would just remove the spare and mount it elsewhere to save length. I park inside after every trip, so removing is not really an option, but I could re-mount it. I most likely won't order the ladder any way.

from the spare tire to the end of the pin box mine is 32' 7" probably give or take a couple of inches.

Thank you very much bob! Where did the sponge go? My kids love him!

So, it looks like we are good, though we may have to take the spare off. I can live with that...I'll just find a way to mount it underneath.

Now to find the money to pay for the new rig and a new truck!

You could move the spare to the front compartment as I did. This allowed room for a bike rack at the back.
