Level Master - Trailer Level

Hello,

A quick question:
I recently purchased a Level Master for my new 2022 Rockwood mini lite 2109S to help me level side to side. The level is pretty big and I can see it real good from the rearview mirror of my F150 truck.
I am pondering how to install it on the trailer. It comes with small tiny screws. Has anyone drilled into the front fiberglass cap?
I am not real crazy about drilling into it, but I don't see any other way of attaching it in a permanent way. I thought about using silicone instead, but I am not sure if it will stay on.
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. See photo below:

Remember that slides will effect trailer level when deployed and you're camping the trailer.
To calibrate how to attach this level to the trailer....
Get the trailer in a level position (as determined by a level on the inside floor) with the slides OUT. You may need to raise or lower one side of trailer wheels with boards, etc. Next, without moving the trailer off the boards, bring in the slides and attach this unit to trailer with the bubble in a centered position.
When the trailer is on level ground or the slides are out, the bubble will not be centered. But it will show level when the wheels are set at proper height prior to deploying slides.
Your goal is to have the bubble centered as you back into campsite and apply leveling blocks under one side of wheels.
When slides are out, trailer will be level even though bubble is again offset.

After a few times you lean where the bubble needs to be before putting the slides out.

I made a bracket for ours that mounts to the factory hitch-mounted bike rack.

But we use a LevelMate Pro now, so this really isn't used anymore.

What TRD said. That's exactly what we do and it makes leveling simple. I have two 1-1/2" boards, one 1" board, and two 1/2" exterior plywood boards in the back of my truck. That way we can do any 1/2" increment from 0" to 5". You quickly learn which ones to use based on the position of the ball in the level-master.

Just installed a LevelMate Pro this weekend. Won't know until I move next if it works for me, but so many people vouch for them...
