Maiden voyage success (after an initial hiccup)

Took off for Sturbridge, MA and got maybe 10 miles from the house, and started smelling something funny. By the time I stopped at a rest area, smoke was pouring off my front left caliper. Almost had to use my Roo's brand new fire extinguisher!

As luck would have it, there was an AutoZone 2 miles away with the parts I needed, and after limping home I got her fixed up and back on the road in < 2 hours.

And before anyone says it didn't happen, DW took a picture

Just goes to show...Murphy's Law can always trump the best of plans.

As for the camping, no issues at all! Very happy w/ the new Roo.

Well.....bright side, you could fix at home, rather than a parking lot.

I'll have DW read this to qualify the space in TH for small air comp.small floor jack, couple o choice air tools n other misc.hand tools...oh and couple rolls o duct tape.

Glad you had a good trip !
