Manual slide out crank

Without actually trying it, can anyone tell me if the hand crank will open the slide on my 8280WS or just close it up if something goes wrong with the motor. I believe it would crank the front landing gear in either direction. I don't see where there is any crank function for the wardrobe slide but that could travel in an emergency.

Thanks for the info.

I think it will, the manual crank worked both ways on my old 2601ss. My 8281ss looks like the same drive mechanism on the large slide.

It will run it out or in.

Be ready for a little bit of a workout as the slide is gear re-ducted enough that you'll turn that crank forever !
