Matching Propane Cover to Rockwood Tan

Last year, my factory propane tank cover was shredded by hail. It was the end of the season, so I didn’t bother to replace it yet. But, as I get closer to camping season, I need to start getting the trailer ready.

Rather than black, I thought it would be nice to match the Rockwood tan color of my trailer. However, Camco has two colors: Bronze and Champagne. I’m guessing it doesn’t matter a whole lot, but figured I still ask the question: is one of these a better match than the other?

Champagne:

I'd go with champagne too.

Given the black one is about $20 cheaper I'd go with that one All things being equal I'd choose the Champagne

Sorry but I like custom, I would get matching paint and sand it thoroughly and spray it. I know sorry you asked with people like me around.

It is right now on Amazon, but that's not typically the difference. If that were the case, yes, I'd go with black. Usually, all colors are in the ~$35 range. Black and white are usually around $5 cheaper than the other shades ... and I'm willing to pay that premium, but agree that I wouldn't pay $20! Amazon's prices on this (and a lot of things) can vary wildly.

Thanks for the responses. It's quite subtle, but I think champagne does seems bit more on point. I'm surprised Camco bothers to make two colors so similar to one another.

Are you going to Change/Paint the Battery Box and Jack motor cover also? They were probably Black to match the other covers? Youroo!!

No. Not changing the other stuff. My propane cover was pulverized by hail. So, I have to buy a new cover anyway. Thought a tan might look better. Maybe I’m wrong, though.
