Mattress tags cut off on new G20bhs Geo Pro.

Hello everyone. Just took delivery of our new 2021 Geo Pro G20bhs. I got to looking at the mattress and found that the plastic bag wrapping the mattress was ripped and the mattress tags had been cut off. Not sure whats going on. Did the dealer do that or was it at the factory? Thought that was illegal to remove tags. Anyone else have that on their 54"x74" Geo Pro mattress?
Can someone let me know the brand of mattress you received?
The factory brochure for the 2020 says they have a heated mattress. Can't find any mention of it in the new 2021 brochure. My mattress is not heated.

My last Rockwood did come with the heated mattress. I never used it.

My new Geo Pro 19FD is in storage at the moment, but I don’t think it came with a heated mattress either. I didn’t receive the controller for it - that I know of.

I have to pass the storage place tomorrow on the way home from work, and I will stop and take a look at the mattress for brand and tags.

They can change options, in the small print somewhere. As far as tags that sounds like a bait and switch by the dealer and punishable by law in most states. I would talk to the dealer then report it to Forest River. They might know who is swapping things.

the only ones who can remove those tags is the consumer(You) after the purchase. I would definitely have a conversation with the dealer AND Forest River PDQ

My 2019 has a heated mattress, came with tags on mattress and the heater controller. You can tell it is heated by the little plug at one end of mattress controller plugs into. I can't remember if it had plastic on it or not, I think it may have been wrapped. Another gimmick I would have liked to have not paid for. You will not use it boondocking or you'll drain batteries, and if you have hookups, why would you use it if you had heat?

In cold weather, flannel sheets and the comforter the bed came with are enough for me.

I would be suspicious that the dealer swapped the mattress out of your unit into another for someone.....

If you ordered it and the build sheet says heated mattress, you got cheated. Talk to Forest River to confirm what was on your trailer, then talk to the dealer. You should start politely of course but consumer protection agencies would probably help if the dealer doesn't fix it for you.

If you bought it off the lot, you got what you bought.

i didn't even know geo pro have heated mattress. let me check out my and see if i got heated mattress? I got all the document . where does it say I got heated mattress?

Let me go outside and look what mattress i got. i got the geo pro 2021 20bhs.

I believe the OP referred to the missing tags as an indicator that the original mattress was swapped, not that somebody broke federal law by taking the tags off.

I stopped by the storage place this evening, and I noted that my new mattress was still in plastic. It had two tags on it after I removed the plastic.

do you suppose to remove the plastic wrape when sleeping on it or just leave it as it is?

Thanks a bunch for the attached photos. My mattress looks exactly like yours, so that makes me feel better. Not sure why someone went to the trouble of cutting the tags off. Oh well.
