Mini Lite 2304 / Micro Lite 23FB Day Bed Mod

I love to nap when camping & the jack knife couch folded flat just wasn’t cutting it. Removed the dinette which is rarely used and built a day bed with plywood & a twin memory foam mattress. Added hinges & a handle so it doubles as a massive storage chest. Not quite finished, I’m going to paint it white then obviously add sheets, pillows, & comforter.

That is a great idea for your needs. Did you use 3/4 plywood? Jay

1/2” plywood to reduce weight but still sturdy

We have a ML23FB and have thought many times of ripping the dinette set out and installing some type of a bar/counter in front of the window and a couple of small bar stools.
It is only wife and I so we don’t need the dinette and half the time we don’t even setup the table when we are camping, mostly eat outside.
The bar idea would give us a little more room to get around inside the trailer and we would probably actually use the bar/counter area.

I love the bar idea. My furnace is located on the otherside of the rig, I believe it is under the kitchen sink. I have a 2014 model.
