Mini Lite - How cold have you camped?

Just curious as to what kind of cold weather Mini Lite owners have used their trailers in?

Having always had heated enclosed underbellys, this will be new for us to be without.

Have you modified anything for colder weather other than using tank pads?

Thanks,
Greg

Coldest Temp thus far

So far with this trailer it was 14F warming to 50F during the daytime.

We set the thermostat to 59F at night to use the covers and save propane. Worked great and it took about 30 minutes to get back up to 70F in the morning.

We had a Kit Companion years ago that we did a -10F. The water lines to the kitchen sink froze until we warmed them by opening the cabinet doors.

That sounds great, thanks for the reply. My last unit was a Super C motorhome that was supposedly well protected from freezing, but I found lines running thru unheated basement compartments to get to another heated location. I was able to insulate them, but the dump valves still hung out in the open. They were in a spot I could keep a lamp and remote temp sensor on them to keep them thawed. It worked down to -13 degrees and we didnt make a habit of doing that.

We don’t expect to push a Mini Lite that far, but know we'll get caught at some point by freezing temps.
