Question Mini Lite Undercarriage Cover

Recently looked at purchasing a 2012 2503S Mini Lite. I noticed there were 2 soft spots on the floor, one about a foot to the right of the toilet and one at the base of the pantry/ward combo. I climbed underneath the unit to check for any signs of damage but there was an undercarriage cover on the entire unit. I didn't even know these were an option for ML's. I'd almost prefer not to have it just so I can maintain things easier. My two questions are, how much trouble can these soft spots turn in to? It seems to be a pretty common issue on ML's. Also, does anyone have an undercarriage cover, if so, how big of a pain is it to work with and/or work around?
Thank you

My 2016 2109S is covered and it's nearly impossible to access anything. The fasteners break off if you try to remove them.
