Missing Tongue Jack Plug (for Manual Crank Hole)
Hello everyone...we have a 2022 Rockwood Mini-Lite model 2513S. When we brought our camper home for the winter and pulled into our storage facility, the rubber cap on the manual crank hole of our tongue jack was missing. So now I have a hole on the top of my tongue jack and and hoping someone could assist in figuring out how to get something to replace the missing plug.
The tongue jack is a model FIC-ETJ3500 and looks to be made by Fastec. The hole itself is measured right at 1" round. I contacted Fastec and they told me that they don't sell replacement plugs but they would be happy to sell me a whole new jack (nope). Checked Home Depot and Lowes but didn't find anything I could use.
Anyone else have any ideas on where a similar 1" plug could be purchased/found?
As always, thanks so much for your support...this forum has been very helpful over the many years we have been camping.

Look for tubing end caps. Normally used on metal chair legs. You may have to trim them down. Also electrical knock-out covers may work.
This might get you started, as well:

On the low end, black Gorilla tape covers up those kinds of things right well. If you do that, remember to place something to cover up the sticky where the hole is so it doesn't pick up debris.

Look for rubber body plugs found at auto parts stores.

https://www.etrailer.com/question-358916.html
Try the link above, etrailer.com replied to a question from a customer and it may have information to get you started.
The part they refer to is available from Ultra-Fab if it will work.
https://ultra-fab.com/product/cap-plug/
Might be worth $1.50 plus shipping just to see if it will fit. The etrailer link says it is @ 1" diameter in the smaller part that pushes down into the hole.
Hope this helps.

Have you tried going to the dealer and buying a new plug? It sounds simple but may have been overlooked.

Homebrew stores generally have a wide variety of corks made from various materials. A #5 bung is
Top Diameter: 1-1/16"
Bottom Diameter: 15/16"
Cost $0.53

Duct tape was made for holes like this. Measure the hole and you'll stumble across a plug sometime. Not worth the effort you're putting into it.

Well, it's right out in front where everyone sees it. A nice black neoprene stopper from Lowe's would be more attractive.

There's not much that can't be fixed with either duct tape or flowers...

I can't recall the last time I looked as someone's tongue jack to offer value judgement on the manual jack hole plug or notice if the hole was plugged or not.
Seems Wynn has solved this issue.

I bought a bag made to cover and protect the top of the jack as my rubber plug did not stop the water from penetrating Amazon or etraiker

Any time I'm not camping, my jack has a 5 gallon paint bucket over it. Bucket is also used when I give the monster a bath...

$19 on a $1.50 part. They are nuts. I'd just try:
https://www.amazon.com/Rubber-Hole-P.../dp/B07F2N9VPQ
It's Amazon. Send it back for free if it doesn't work, if you really want you $8.50 back that bad.
