Model 8289 Adding the big doors to island?

I have a 2012 and wonder if any of you have added the large doors to the door side of the island as the newer models come with? If so, did you order the factory doors and if so, how expensive were they and was the wood color close?

I would think if you went to cabinet shop they could build doors and match finish.

Lots of folks have ordered doors from FR. Never heard anyone complain that the color was off. You just need to be able to tell them what size and finish you need. Can't help you with $$$.

Thanks. Forest River may have changed the wood stain on a later model of the same camper as they did the layout, yet, kept the model the same. It was just my hope that someone might have done this or had reasons that it wasn't practical. This cabinet has a lot of space that's hard to use when you need to lay down on the floor to be able to utilize it. For weekend camping, it's not an issue but for camping by the month-or three, it's good to be able to utilize the storage space.
