Mount a towel rack in a ePro/gPro

I have a new-to-me 2020 Geo Pro G19FD and I'd like to mount 2 towel racks (over/under) in the bathroom on the rear wall. I cannot find any studs and the walls (looking in the outside access openings to the rear of the fridge) appear to be about a 1.25" thick styrofoam core that is laminated on both sides.

I want the towel racks to be nice and sturdy so that they do not rip out of the wall over time. That's why I was looking for aluminum studs but now I don't think they exist. Apparently the aluminum frame/cage is just the perimeter of the camper box with basically no studs in the walls.

Suggestions? Have you actually tried this yourself?

Thanks.

Will these work when you are going into a solid styrofoam core wall? It doesn't look like there would be room for the legs to open up and unfold.

I would be surprised if the walls were foam core all the way through. But if they are:

I would have both types of anchors on hand and drill a small test hole. Then figure out which anchor to use.

Yes, they do appear to be a solid styrofoam core.

Thanks for your input.

What I did was mounted a pair of the 3M Command Adhesive hooks in the bathroom for our towels, another by the mirror for the handtowel, and two in the shower for wet washcloths. My experience with the Command hooks is that they hold well, and don't require putting any holes in the wall.

That’s what we use. Giant command hooks.

Over the door towel racks are sturdy. Easy install.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Just for the record, I just learned that this Geo Pro G19FD (and maybe all ePro and gPro models) does have an aluminum frame but it is ONLY the outer rim of the BOX frame, NOT the sides nor either end. There are NO vertical studs at all in any outside wall front, rear, left, or right, except around the entry doorway and maybe a window or two. Inside walls (like the bathroom wall between the bathroom and the dining area) do have wood studs according to the folks at Rockwood. Also, the outside walls are only approximately 1.5" thick so beware of any screw length you may choose to use. I had misunderstood how the unit was actually constructed.

I will probably re-think this project and maybe use some type of stick-on product rather than drilling at this time.

Thanks again for your input.

Actually I think that is the roof. Notice the curving about 1:44. The sides are in the 1:26-1:36 area and there are no studs vertically there of any kind.

I have put up many things in our TT. One option for your application would be toggle bolts or rivets. Not sure exactly what the particular rivets I used are called but they are used for boats/kayaks. They have a plastic part that expands (like a toggle bolt) when you tighten them down. I have used these in several areas on our tt. They don't take as big a hole as toggle bolts and will hold quite a bit of weight. Command hooks are an option, but I have found that they don't hold much weight. You could try the command hooks first and, if they don't hold, then try rivets or toggle bolts (since, if the command hooks don't work, you won't have put any holes in your wall). Good Luck

I bought this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082WYTH3G...roduct_details

I found something similar for toilet paper too. Don't know how long the adhesive works, just got them.

I installed a coat hanger and towel hooks using hollow wall shallow anchors.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I used a wall anchor setting tool. Hooks have been in place for 2 years, no loosening.

FYI, out of concern for the length of the screws, I snipped the ends. I also drilled clean holes before setting the anchors.
