Need help with outdoor stove

Folks,

Is there a secret way to turn on the outdoor Kitchen propane stove on a Rockwood mini lite?

I can't figure it out.

Thank you.

My old unit had a ball valve where the disconnect hose was. The handle needs to be "in line" with the hose to be on.
