Need Reading Lights

21012 Rockwood 2304S with the Murphy Bed. The only lights in the forward part of the rig are the overhead lights. There are none over the bed. I like to read when I take the trailer out. I have used a headlamp and a battery operated lamp which is okay. 12v reading lights would be best. Where to get power?

Or something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FPHYSDW...4zdq-uOw7cAEjA I thought about installing lights, but why bother when I have this light attached to my book. I use it in bed at home. Cheap at Sam's club. One for me, one for wife.

Thanks. Those are both better than the ones I have found.

To get around having to plug-in or use batteries...I bought these solar charged lights and they work great. I have one version now for seems five years and it is still going strong. I use it daily reading in bed.

Some versions can use USB to charge or run, as well.

Thanks for this idea. I ordered two; they should be here tomorrow. I think they will work great clipped to the valance above the window at the head of the bed.

We have these same book lights in our 2304. They're lightweight, clip nicely to a book and they sit well on the nightstands, if you prefer. The best part, IMO, is the ability to change the color and brightness of the LED light. The cool white LEDs in the TT are very harsh so we don't use them much. We added strings of warm white mini lights all around the ceiling for ambient lighting. It's much more comfortable.

I wish we could replace all the ceiling lights with dimmable, warm white LEDs, but I haven't found a source. If anyone knows of some, I'd appreciate the lead!

Luckily all those bright LED lights on the ceiling can be turned on and off individually, so if I want more subdued light, I just turn on the light over the sink, or oven hood. Those LED clip lights are great, batteries last very long, and they go where you go. Sitting out on a warm night and want to read? No problem. Much more versatile than hardwired reading lights.
