I will confess we sold our mini life 2503s and purchased a Winnebago mini plus. Husband doesn't have enough room to move in bedroom and can't get to bedroom unless slide is out. After two years saw the 2608BS it looks terrific however a couple of concerns of someone would be so kind as to answer please and thank you. Especially if you have the one with the dinette bench.
Can you get to the refrigerator and bathroom with the slides in?
Does the hot water tank have an anode rod?
Can you get to bedroom hanging closet with slide in?
Width of night stand close to the outlet (husband has CPAP needs 7 1/2 inch wide shelf)?
How is the storage space for sewer hose, potable water hose, black tank flush hose, power cord and small Weber a 1000 grill?
How easy is it to reach valves to winterize?

Yes you can get to the refrigerator using the living room entry door and the bathroom using the bedroom entry door.
Yes it has an anode rod.
Yes on the hanging closet.
Stand with outlet is 6"x13".
The storage under the bed from outside is huge.
The valves are easy to get to from the front outside compartment.
We love it, I suggest you go look at one.

Ok I’ll try to answer your questions as best I can!
You can get to the Refrigerator and bathroom with both slides in you must use the bedroom door for bathroom and kitchen door for frig!
I was told on my PDI the hot water heater had a anode.
You can get to one side of the closet but you have to reach around to get to it. The bed blocks the doors, but the sliding mirrors are accessible!
Both nightstands are slim but wide and I have two different Cpap types and they both fit!
The storage is not giant but I have 3 hoses and big Rubbermaid in and set up stuff in one and the smaller BBQ THAT comes with the trailer in another area with plenty of space! You should enough space for listed stuff plus more!
I don’t know about winterizing it but it does have inlet for it!
Hopes that helps!

Okay, I got four Goodyear Endurance tires this afternoon, and the dealer has agreed to mount them, swapping them out for the Castle Rocks that are on the trailer. I guess we'll keep the spare, but I hope we'll never use it.

Thank you for the information it is very helpful. Especially appreciate the comments about the cpap😊. Going to take a look at the local dealership taking a tape measure to check out height of exterior storage access. Already writing up a list of questions for the dealership.

Galley tank
Are any of you using a y set up to drain the galley tank? Don't really want to crawl back and forth with the one line when draining tanks.
I will be changing my signature line when we bring our "baby home" 2019 version of the 2608bsd.
The dealership is putting in an upgraded toilet, vent cover in kitchen and a maxi fan with vent cover in the bedroom.
Have been emptying out and cleaning the current camper today, good time to eliminate items that we didn't use when camping this past year.

Question about quick connect for gas grill
We are seriously thinking about upgrading to the 2608BS. Notice it now comes with a griddle, but where is the gas hookup?

Towards the front about where the awning support mounts. Mine came with a grill not a griddle but I use a Weber Q which sits on a portable table just outside of the awning. The mount for the grill/griddle is above the gas outlet.

Hello currently on a 5000 trip around the USA 1/2 way done! The 2608bs has been amazing for my wife and I! I think for two it is ideal as it is under 30 Ft and equipped with everything we need! Ours came with a grill kind cheap and not too stable but works! We have the quick connect under the front just below the awning mount! Purchased a Y connect to run our fire pit too! Everything is ok! I can’t say a bad thing so far and put 2500 miles on it so far! Good luck!

Also looking to upgrade toilet but haven’t gotten to it yet narrowed it down to the Dometic 320! I’m a big guy! Just not sure it will fit! If anyone has done a toilet upgrade please let me know! I was asked in post about it from another Advanced Gentleman (big)! But my service cut off some post!

We upgraded to the Dometic 310 pre delivery just to get the porcelain bowl with the multiple flush outlets. Lucky us because I have read in these pages about the odor problems with the 300. I don’t know if the 320 is larger than the 310 but here are some pictures I took today while winterizing the trailer. I’m 5’9” and my wife is 5’ so we are poor examples for fitment but there is plenty of room for us.

Thanks! The plastic is noisy and scares me. I’m the opposite 6’5”, 300 so was looking for the oval for body space but not sure it was fit! Does you toilet appear to be pointed more towards shower side! We have no Oder issues thank goodness!

I am wondering about the 320 also, it has an elongated bowl so it is longer.

we went up to 310 from 300 big improvement also got it with sprayer ... works great ... looked at 320 has longer bowl was not sure about the fit ... diagrams show slightly larger footprint 22" front to back vs 19" for the 310 .... 310 Dometic 310 series- best in class Gravity flush. 100 percent vitreous ceramic bowl. 360 degrees Vortex flush pattern. Powerful swirl-jet cleaning action. Lightweight. Full-sized adult slow-close enameled wood seat. Tall, ergonomic seat height. Easily accessible water line connection. Two-bolt installation. Low-maintenance, reliable operation. Two-year warranty... Very simple install ...

The 320 won't fit without modifying the wall behind it. Like Hatchdog and frank4711, we put a 310 in to replace the 300 and it just touches the wall on the corners.
If you relieved the wall to make a 320 work, then the lid wouldn't open all way. As it is now the 310 lid just opens enough to keep it open

How is the sprayer hooked up? Do you mind sharing a pic?

We really like our 2608. With the temps soaring here in Tennessee and having a shakedown trip coming up this week, I'm so glad it has the second ac.
We installed a Progressive Industries EMS this past weekend. It wasn't too hard an install, just a pain to work with the 6 gauge wire. Installed it under the fridge behind the breaker panel. Pulled the time delay jumper to give it the long time delay. I'm thinking better safe than sorry. I'll probably forget and wonder "Why is the power not coming on"

[QUOTE]
I purchased a "y" before our last trip, and it worked just fine. I'm going to do it differently on the next trip, however. I'll hook up the drain hose to the forward (kitchen) drain before I open the front slide, and leave the drain open so that I don't have to crawl back under the slide when I'm getting ready to leave. There's no need to keep the gray water in reserve to wash out the residue from the black tank because the black tank doesn't drain through that hose. I'll drain the bathroom tanks (black and gray) just as I normally do,black first and then gray, and they will use the other side of the 'Y". The dual drain system is the only part of the 2608bs that I find inconvenient. But the extra gray water capacity is nice.
