This is our first trip to Mangawhai Heads, a couple of hours drive north of Auckland on the east coast. The camp ground is right on the water inlet from the ocean. Had good clean facilities was very relaxing

Next trip was with three of our grandkids for three days at a place called Papamoa Beach on the east coast in the Bay of Plenty region. The camp ground has good facilities for the kids to play and have fun Click image for larger version

This was from our latest trip we just got back from 2 days ago, its at a place called Ohope Beach further down the coast of the Bay of Plenty. Great facilities once again for kids..... has water slides into the pool etc etc.

Have started to organised a big family camping holiday with our kids and grand kids to go to this spot... cant wait

Great to see your pics.
We spent 2 weeks in your wonderful country, both islands.
Kerikeri/Paihia area first, Rotorua down to Napier, then to Wellington.
Then made our way down to Queenstown and finally ended in Christchurch.
Loved how the Kiwis HATE possums!

Hope you enjoyed your visit here. Yes the possums are a major problem being and introduced pest, they threaten native wild life
