New 8285WS is home

Brought the new fw home yesterday, but came up with a couple questions, one I forgot to ask, and one the pdi guy didn't have a clue.

First, where is the water filter located, and how often does it need serviced?

Second concerns the tv. I want to hook up an outside satelite. I see where the cable is in the cabinet to connect to the sat, but how do I get the signal from the box to the tv? Previously, we just hooked the cables up to the back of the tv. But on this new one, I can't figure out how to get to the back of the tv. Am I going to have to figure out how to remove the tv, or do we plug it into one of the inputs located in the cabinet?

The water filter should be behind the rear wall in the driver side basement storage. You'll have to remove a few screws to gain access through the felt section of the rear wall. The water pump is in the same location.

Connect the satellite to the SAT outlet on the camper exterior. Connect the satellite box to the sat connector in the cabinet. Turn the media center to AV1 and set your TV to cable/sat or whatever the TV setup is in the setup menu. Then you should be good to go. I have the 2011 version of your camper. Love it.

Inside the camper, below the television, and the lowest cabinet to the left, you can also access the water filter by removing the screws from the hinges on the right side of this cabinet. Notice that there are hinges on both sides of this cabinet. I just left the screws out. The filter should be replaced annually. Due to being a slight pain, I left my filter out and am using a filter attached to the water hose.

I'm sorry. I just noticed that you have a different model that mine. Hope I didn't lead you down the garden path. My bad.

You have a different model but you were correct in your reply. Its just that I can access my filter housing easier from inside. The pump access is much easier from the basement as you stated.
