New Camper

We recently picked up our 2010 Rockwood 8280WS in Elkhart, Indiana through RV Direct. Our experience with them was very positive.

We also took the opportunity to tour the Rockwood/Flagstaff production facility in Millersberg, Indiana. It was a very interesting and informative afternoon. We really appreciated the time that Steve Beyeler (NE Sales) took to tour us around and answer all our questions.

Attached are some pictures of the interior. We're very pleased with the camper and can't wait for the season to begin.

Awesome guys. I really like the recliners. Are these standard or did you have to order that way? Nice looking rig. Ahhh I can almost get that "new rig smell" from the pictures. We too bought through RVdirect, was an easy and positive experience for sure. Also like the wood flooring. The wife wants me to rip out the carpet in our rig and put it in.

Congrats on the new unit and thanks for sharing the photos. Those recliners look really comfortable. I'd be asleep in just a few sitting there watching TV.

Very nice looking diggs, get out and use it, hope your temperatures get nicer, it was 61 degrees yesterday here in Idaho, too bad I had to work.

Thanks...

The leather recliners were an option over the standard swivel rockers and are very comfortable..............zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

The floor is linoleum and should be easy to care for.

Very nice....this is a move up for you isn't it, I seem to remember when I was waiting this time last year that you had just gotten a 2009?

Thanks all! Really looking forward to our first outing in a couple of weeks! I have a few mods that I'll be sharing with photos once completed.

Perhaps I should have bought from allseasonsRV, they have great deals on Rockwoods. Oh, never mind! They were the ones that took 1 1/2 weeks to give me a quote which was $1000 higher than what I ended up paying.

Dave, the interior pics are great, but what about the exterior. Do you have your photos hosted somewhere?

Mike, the only exterior photo I have is what we used in our signature, taken in the driveway. We'll get some pictures when we take it out in a couple of weeks. Rockwood changed the profile part way through the 2010 model year. It's now taller...4 steps up to the bedroom which increased the height in the basement.

Congrats to you Dave. These new Rockwoods are amazing. Each time I see one I think it's nicer than the last one. Yours has to be the nicest I've seen so far!
