New Camper Intro

Hello Guys,
I have been on here for a few years now but under the Coachman forums. Well the time has come for my family to move to our first NEW camper. So we just ordered a brand new 2018 Rockwood Signature UltraLite 8295WS. Our preferred dealer didn't have one in stock so after driving around central minnesota to look at the two we could find, we fell in love with it. But we wanted to use the dealer that we knew as they had always had the best service and support around. So they went and ordered ours on Monday. He says it should be 9 weeks but they are going to let us keep using our existing trailer until it comes in. We can't wait. The saving grace for the wife was she got to order it exactly how she and the boys wanted it. Although, I got to add the Auto Leveling kit too.

I will be talking to you all I am sure. Hope I love this camper as much as we loved our 2010 Coachman 300bhs. I am sure we will.

Congratulations on your camper upgrade!! Being allowed to use your present camper until the new one comes is great! Sounds like a good dealer to do business with.

Congratulations on an awesome new camper. The dealership doesn't own your current trailer until you sign it over to them so it's really still yours to use for the next few months. We had the same situation last year and all went well

Thanks guys. First time for a Fifth wheel. Any advice on differences between that and the Travel Trailer style? Also, any fifth wheel hitch recommendations? Found a couple used. Since the trailer has a Reese Revolution I assume I won't need a slider with my 6.5' Bed.
