New from WI

Hello,
My wife and I are looking at Rockwood ultra lite tt for traveling during retirement. We like a couple of the models and will be visiting dealers to see them in person. I am sure we will have questions along the way.

For now we are looking at the 2608bs and the 2707ws trailers. Can you get recliners instead of the sofa seating?

Thanks
Pat

Hi Pat, you are looking at 2 very nice campers. I highly recommend the recliners instead of sofa for seating. And yes it is an option. Good luck and enjoy your retirement.

Welcome from Illinois. I've bought all 3 of my rigs from Roskopf's in Richfield,
WI.

http://www.roskopfsrv.com/

It's a family owned place. Can't speak to their service dept as I've never used it, but I always felt I was getting a fail deal on my rigs. They are usually at the Milwaukee RV show in February (Feb 27-Mar1, 2020 at State Fair Park Milwaukee RV Show), if you want to wait that long. We ordered our Mini Lite 2505S there in 2015.

Get the 2707WS! The opposing slides in the living area makes the trailer much bigger! It feels just as big as much longer trailers. It has a ton of storage. Get it with two A/Cs. A great trailer, you will love it.

Dealer Stock Only

I noticed the 2707WS is listed as dealer stock only. Has this model been discontinued? It has a great floor plan. As DSO, it will be difficult to find.

Thanks for any insight into DSO that you care to share.

Hello and welcome from Eastern Nebraska / Northwest Missouri. Don't worry, you'll know which TT is the right one for you. Each one we've bought had that special feeling when we looked at it and we knew..."this is the one." Good luck and Happy Travels in 2020.

Generally, when RV manufacturers designate a model as Dealer Stock Only, that means the model is being discontinued.
Our current TT was a DSO model.

Don't know what tow vehicle you have but if you have a 3/4 ton take a look at the Rockwood 8332BS. It has apposing slides and gives you a large open area. We had one until we moved up to a Cedar Creek 5'r.
