My dealer told me that they would use up the remaining old fabric and cabinets then switch to the new. I have an off line date of August 12 and I ordered oak with vineyard and just got notified by dealer it will be hickory with Austin interior.
We placed an order August 16 for a Mini-lite, we were shown the old interiors -we picked Vineyard with cherry . Then we got home and got a call to come back as the dealer just found out that the interiors had changed--he only had faxed copies of samples of the interior...it was hard to guess what they really looked like!! and so readying your post, I see it's been nearly a month that Forest River had their new interiors picked and they still haven't updated their website. This bothers me and worries me--is this an indication of how they run their entire business?? Seems unorganized and a bit 'sloppy' to me.
BTW--Did you receive delivery of your new unit on the date you were told you would receive it??
Our offline date was August 12 and we got a call from the dealer on August 3 it was at the dealer. I'm not sure if I just read too many bad things after I ordered my trailer about forest river but my but when we got it I took a long look at everything and found a few little miner things wrong. No big deal to me. It's like building a car there is a lot more things that could go wrong. That is why you find ah good dealer not just a good price. Forest River even has it in the magazine to buy local. This a link a found that has the new colors as well as the new cabinets. They drop oak and went with hickory. http://www.wanarv.com/rv/rockwood-5th-wheel.cfm
We picked up our new Ultra Lite 2604 Wednesday in Shipshewana, Indiana and are absolutely thrilled with it. Not only the Riviera Interior but the overall quality. We visited the factory Thursday and were extremely impressed with the quality control and especially with the spirit of the Amish and Mennonite craftsmen who do all of the work. You may find a flaw or two( We have not) but , in my opinion, you can't go wrong with a Rockwood.
jacksum2; about the only thing that seems to be reocuring in the 2604's is a leak in the shower glass enclosure. It took me about 10 minutes and a very little clear caulk to fix mine, and read post were 3-4 others had this problem. With mine I could see where they'd missed about a 3/4" long seam right at the bottom of the door on the hinged side where the vertical and horizontal metal frames met.
