New Mini Lite 1905

We are new to the RV world and to this forum. We're picking up our Rockwood Mini Lite 1905 within the week and are very excited about it. We are planning a cross-country trip this summer and would like to get an idea of how many miles we can expect to travel in a day, driving about 8 hours or so each day. Is 400 miles a reasonable expectation or is that too optimistic? Any tips and ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Congrats! We have a 1905 and pulls real easy. Pulled 5 hours with ease. How long is your call. Some like to take their time and some want to get to destination ASAP. (The not retired)

Bought a 1905 last year. Never a problem. Drove 7 hours at a time. Enjoy

Congrats on the 1905. I looked at a new one last week, very nice with a murphy bed.

Thanks for the replies. We are trying to figure out how many days it will take us to get from Virginia to Oregon. I'm thinking we can reasonably travel about 400 miles a day, but I'm worried that may be too optimistic. I know we have to drive slower pulling a TT so I don't have a good feel for how many miles we can cover in a day. Without pulling a trailer I can easily cover 550-600 miles in one day. How many miles are you covering when driving 7 hours?

Hello RoyR,
We have a 1909s which is the same size as your 1905. I find that we can travel 50 miles fairly easily in one hour, actually a little more without adding in rest stops etc. That is traveling at a comfortable 55-60mph on average. Happy Travels
