Newbie: How to use a heater?

I cannot find any video online on the geo pro . How to turn on the heater? I have never done this before. Do I need to switch something on first before I switch the thermistats to a high heat position?

I don't know if this is correct. But I Tested out the GAS and it work fine. So I know the propane is getting GAS into the stove. So I switch the thermistats to a hot position and I can feel hot air coming out. But there is a smell I don't like. maybe its just me or this is a new geo pro.
Just wanted to be safe.

Question:
Am I smelling Carbon Manoxide? How do I tell if the heater is running correct?

Thank you.

If it's your first time running the heater, you're smelling the oils that coat the unit when it's produced. Open the windows and the smell should go away after a few minutes.
You can't smell carbonmonoxide.

Carbon Monoxide has no smell. That’s why you also have a CO Detecter . Smell is just the new equipment smell that will disappear after a few minutes.

Yes, that easy-just like home- as long as you have shore power (plugged into an AC electrical unit). Your heater fan will drain your batteries in a day or two if you are camped in cold weather unless you are able to recharge the batteries via a generator, solar, or shore power.

Doesn't your home have a thermostat?
