Nissan Armada as tow vehicle

Anyone out there with a 2017 + Nissan Armada as a tow vehicle? We have a 4x4 Platinum with tow package. Looking for advice on weight distro system(s)/sway reduction. The dealer is going to install one for us, but I want to make sure I'm not getting junk.

Will also be installing a brake control system.

Thanks in advance!

Everyone is going to want to know what you're pulling and the associated weights/length.

And payload capacity number, from the driver's door yellow sticker.
It'll say something like "Occupants and cargo should not exceed xxxxlbs".

We tow with a 2018 Armada. A couple things I noticed is the suspension is a little soft, I did a search to see if there were better towing shocks but no one makes them, I was surprised at that. The tall tire sidewalls add to the squishiness so airing them up to close to max helps. We have a Curt WDH with a sway bar but it's just OK. I was looking at the Husky, it looks very much like the Equalizer for a lot cheaper. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...N209KAZ9&psc=1

A friend tows a big bunk room tt with a 4x2 Armada, bought it the states, probably a 2012 or something. Don’t no weights or anything, but it’s a pretty big unit. They go to The west Kootneys every year with no issues.

Either one of the following has occurred..

1) OP realized he's in over his head on the numbers and doesn't want to listen to us regurgitate over and over again that he can't pull this.

2) OP doesn't know the weights and is too embarrassed to admit it

3) found an answer another way.

OP- don't be embarrassed. Many of us were sold more than we can safely tow. You're not the first to be oversold.

You can eliminate sway with a Hensley or ProPride hitch. We have the Hensley and love it - have installed or had it installed on the most recent 3 TTs. We pull with a 3/4 ton Yukon XL with the 8.1 gasser - built to tow, and we are still grateful for the Hensley every day we're on the road. They are expensive and heavy, but really work. Have heard great things about the ProPride, too, but can't speak from experience there. Hensley also sells a quality brake controller. As to how "tow-worthy" that Armada is, would need some additional information to analyze that. Happy camping!
