Now, that's a PDI!!

When we took possession of our latest trailer; we were ready to do our PDI. The tech came out and met us at the trailer all hooked up. He proceeded to walk us through all the systems and features in order from when we entered the trailer to the other end. He pointed out some model features that were different than the FR brochure, such as it had a full queen bed instead of the RV queen, he worked all the electronics and showed setting up the jack knife couch. He made sure to show where the "hidden" items were; such as where the filter was located(they had already installed it) and where the access panel was for the bypass valves for the water heater. He then proceeded to show and explain a few items they had fixed before we arrived. We went outside and he went through all the hookups and features. At this point they had me move my TV into position to hook it up and set the hitch. This took just under 2 hrs. It was not until after all this that we went in to sign paperwork. I have had many trailers but never has any dealer gone to this length for a PDI.

Maybe give the dealership a shout out so others can have this same experience?

Very nice to hear someone who got what we all expect with a very expensive purchase.
It wouldn't hurt to let others know the name of the Dealership. Others may be in the market and knowing this dealer does it right, might help them decide on dealer A or dealer B.

Nice. Thanks to this forum, I had a 4 hours PDI. Guy was exhausted by end. For a 20' travel trailer, lol. He was getting his look on his face by end and I asked what was wrong. He said this normally takes an hour. He should have known what was about to happen when I said, 'be right back', and came back from my pickup with flashlight, mechanics creeper, clipboard, and outlet tester....

We just had almost the exact same experience when we picked up our new trailer this week from RV Valuemart in Willow St, PA. Top notch experience all the way! So glad to see the dealers stepping up to ensure the customers are happy, properly set up, and have the knowledge they need before leaving the lot, and offer to continue to provide support after the sale as well. Especially as we are not local.
