Nylon bolt

We have a Rockwood 8301WS fifth wheel. It came with a glass stove cover. One of the bolts that hold the glass is missing. The other bolt is present and they are nylon. Problem is I can’t find a bolt to replace the lost one. Any idea where we can find a replacement?

I had the same problem... never could find a plastic/nylon bolt replacement. I finally just used a SS bolt with fiber washers on both sides to somewhat protect the glass, then used Loc-tite on the threads.

Hardware stores like Ace and True Value have those rows of "special hardware" in pull out drawers. I've been able to find "plastic/nylon nuts and bolts" there.

Or here. They are stupid expensive for a plastic bolt. Of course the bolts don't come with nuts which are again stupid expensive. I had to replace 2 bolts and 2 nuts, with shipping Costs get close to 20 bucks. Yes, for PLASTIC nuts and bolts!

Anyway, here is another option. Might want to get some low end Loctite to keep them from loosening up, dancing out, and falling into that interdimensional rift that causing them to disappear forever.

take the remaining one off and take it with you to an old fashion hardware store and get help to determine the exact size. You may have to order it as I could never find nylon bolts at my local HD, Lowes or ACE hardware stores that everyone else seems to know that they have. Just my luck to live where these are not stocked anywhere in little drawers in the specialty area of the fastener department.
