% off sticker?
Hello all, looked at a few Ultra Lights today, and have a hankering on a 2608BS. On other manufacturers, I typically see and hear 30 off msrp as a baseline, but at this place, 23% was the best so far. Is that normal for Rockwoods? Seems a bit pricey.
Thanks,
Heavy

Use RV One/RV Direct or RV Wholesalers for quotes. Take the quotes to the dealer and tell them to beat that price.
RV One/RV Direct have New York locations so have you looked into them?
They often have the lowest prices on Rockwoods, in the country.

Done!
I don't mind spending a little extra for the local trailer, but if it is more than a couple grand, I will drive. Warranty issues concern me, but will go for it anyway. Seems to me with C-19, the economy is about to take a big one, and asking premium prices is crazy. Disposable cash will be harder to find. The girl at the front desk said business was good, but I find that hard to believe, we were absolutely the only customers around.

Dealers set whatever MSRP they want. Looking at bottom line price comparisons is better IMO.

The MSRP sheet is available from FR, printed out. They seem pretty consistent. They are also available for each unit on the rvone site.

Good to hear, I have quote requests to them for two separate units. They are only 3 hours away.

I don’t want to screw the local guy, but I don’t want to pay too much either. Looking at the specter of a very poor business climate for the next couple of years, I would think they would offer a better price. Seeing as there is no way I can use it right away, I can wait or drive I guess. Waiting is more prudent, I want to use the hell out of it to capture all the warranty tuning that will inevitably be needed.
Floor plan must be costing them.... Meh. Whatever....
Also, between Flagstaff and Rockwood, it’s just the stickers that are different, right?

Interior decor choices differ slightly, as well, but all differences are entirely cosmetic. They're literally built on the same line. The serial numbers are intermingled between Rockwood and Flagstaff. The next trailer down the line, whatever brand it is, gets the next VIN.
I've read statements to the effect that Rockwoods may cost less because there are more of them, tipping the supply/demand balance towards supply. That is not my experience, but I cannot refute it. I owned a Flagstaff Shamrock purchased new in the past from Tom Johnson (now Camping World) in NC. It was cheaper than a similar Rockwood for the model I was looking for, equipped as I wanted it.
