Where is the quick connect on a 2701SS?

I didn't have your model but I did have a R/V that had the same hatch.
My kids had a habit of pushing the hose and quick-connect end too far into the hatch when we'd break camp. I either had to use a coat hanger or something to fish it out of the internal compartment or one time I think I had to remove the hatch cover.

Is there a sealant holding it on? You could try light heat and see if that would loosen it or try getting something under it.

Or

What's on the inside of the camper at that location? Has to be a place where the hose could go like under a seat at a dinette. I'd look to see if you can access the area inside the camper.

Back then, the quick connect propane line might have been an option. I know some RVs had that white plastic port installed but no propane hose. There would be a nib to have one installed.

It was under dinette. There is no gas flow- could it be clogged by spider webs?

Glad you found it.

It wouldn't be clogged with spider webs if it still has the original quick-connect on the end. They couldn't have gotten in the line as the quick-connect closes off the line when uncoupled.

What are you connecting to? How do you know it has no flow?

Outdoor grill. No flow. Hose connected directly to copper line in frame.

When I took my trailer out on it's first trip I had a no-flow issue too. Turned out the hose had a kink that closed off gas flow and it was in a spot that was hard to see. Took kink out of hose and it's worked perfectly since August 2017.

Something to watch as well . . .
Propane pressure from the quick connect is at 11" water . . . It has a regulator from the main tanks to the QC.

If you attach the BBQ to the quick connect with one more regulator the BBQ won't get enough propane to operate correctly.

Here’s how I connected my grill (not my idea). I eliminated my grill regulator. So far so good, I control the heat with the valve.
