Outside tv mount on 2703ws

I just purchased a 2014 2703 travel trailer and noticed there is a hanging TV mounting bracket outside. Does anyone know if I can use the mount from inside to hang outside or do I need buy a separate mount?

Thanks.

On mine you can. You need to pull the tv away from the wall and smack the bracket where it goes into the wall mount and it will slide up and out on the two keystone slotted holes. If yours is like mine.

Are you talking about the rear TV ? Or the bedroom TV ? I noticed when trying to move the bedroom TV to the outside mount that you will need to get a longer piece of cable to plug it in since the one provided in the bedroom is to short.

I got it to work this weekend. Thinking about putting a tv in the bedroom with the same mount and bracket. Where can you buy this particular set up? Hoping it's not a dealer item...?

I got mine direct from forest river. Year, make model number and serial number will get it for you( and of course a C-note!)

Jeff, I think he states a c note or $100.00. I want one too so I can use a 13" flat screen out of my old rv and not take the one out of the bedroom of my 2604....but I ain't about to pay $100 for it,,,thats crazy high.

The exact scissor/quick-disconnect mount that Flagstaff uses is the RAMCO MSCSL12-QD. You can get it here for just under $100 including shipping:

MSCSL12-QD | Ramco Engineering, Inc

I bought one and it fits great on the exterior mount on my 19FD and the interior mount was easy to install. The Ramco online shop is a lot less complicated (for me anyway) than hitting up FR or a dealer for one.

Thanks for the link. I think I'll just stick to undoing all the wires for that price.
