Pantry LED Lights Modification
My 2017 Windjammer 3029w has a nice pantry for food storage, but it came with no lighting inside at all and is hard to see what is inside at times. My wife got some touch puck lights and stuck on, but they fell off after just a while and had to turn one on for each shelf as wanted. I went out the other day and installed some LED lighting https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 above each shelf. I stripped the wire and soldered the wires to a 12 volt wire that came from behind my refrigerator and inside pantry and also installed a simple momentary switch before the lights to have lights come on when the pantry door is opened and lights go off when door is closed. My wife loves these and they light up each shelf much more than the puck lights did and no switches to flick on for each shelf.

Sorry, I actually had the switch in my pile of goody spare parts. However, here is one that looks like mine but looks a little expensive since it is a part for a dryer, but any from a refrigerator or other would work the same. I simply glued (I used a jel superglue) the switch where I wanted it to stay. I also cut off the little tabs on the top to allow gluing top and side to the cabinet faceframe.

Look on FleaBay or Spamazon! Plenty of cheap switches there!

Awesome! Could you come and install the same thing in my TT?! You did a fantastic job. Would that I had the skills to do the same thing. I am dealing with the puck lights that don't stay stuck where I put them!

I bought some LED bars. Motion detection. Magnetic mounts. Really bright. No need to run wires and tap in switches.

I have put puck lights in the pantry cabinet, but this idea is much better.
I think I am going to use a switch like this:

small and can handle the current of the array LED's for each shelf.

Mine would have turned lights on with door closed instead of when open. Bonus is one like this allows screws to fasten to cabinet. Amazon has several and cheaper than other kind too. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0050HKB8O..._aScgAbVN9KFYN

I used an automotive hood switch for alarm systems as I got them for less than buck a piece. One of best mods I have done.
