Pass-through organization / optimization

Hey Friends!

I'd like to hear what folks have been doing to get/keep their pass-through storage organized, and optimize storage space.

Pics are appreciated.

Cheers!

It’s the vertical space that’s often under utilized. I found the largest totes I could fit that would get me two wide and two tall. That way I didn’t end up with excessively heavy totes. Also makes it easy to divide items into categories.

Uline Totes

I originally had five of the Uline totes in my pass thru. Positioned long side front to back. Sturdy, all the same height and you can stack other items on top. Still gave me room for my griddle and other items in front of them.

I have now moved two to my living area and they now are my computer table. Previous table is now in the bedroom. Now oriented the three remaining totes long end side to side in the pass thru. Now even more room in front of them for my camp chairs and other items that do not need to be in totes.

If I recall they come in different sizes and I ordered what would fit thru my door and give me most loading. I like them so well I bought three more for the truck after several months.

Not cheap but not a whole lot more expensive than what you buy at the big box stores.

Caution: Easy to put a lot of weight in them if your tongue weight is heavy already.

I have thinner totes on one side, the other side is a jumbled mess!
My plans are to put a 48” long drawer on the messy side so that I can pull it out and have decent access to everything. Only downside is the access door on that side is significantly smaller, not sure why?

If it's a 2109S then it's because of the water heater.

I only use the pass through for larger bulky stuff so totes and other containers not required

I did lash out and bought a small plastic laundry basket from Dollar General...
stores the water hose and some smaller items (blocks) used for setup camp.

otherwise don't like to store much there to keep tongue weight low.

It is a 312qbud and it is a jumbled mess because my wife’s husband has trouble staying organized.
