PDI Questions

What do we need to ask about during pdi that may not be obvious or covered. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

if its your first camper, tell them that. I think alot times what seems obvious gets skipped because they assume someone knows. A proper PDI should be overwhelming, way to much info to digest. Take your time and maybe take notes.

Sorry i didnt even look at your status or number of post. I was just thinking about all the post ive seen lately about "what my outlets dont work when not on shore power" or "why does the tv not work when not plugged in"

I'm so used to the basics on a new camper and PDI the questions I ask they usually cant answer.

Most dealers have a "camp" area near their facilities. If you have the ability, check for a place to hook up and spend the night in your RV. You can go over everything on your list, actually operate all the systems and produce a list of things you want repaired.
We did this with our TT. We had immediate access to help when setting up,using the TT and service needs the next morning.
A great way to get acquainted with with your new RV.

Triple SS, does the iPad not have a usb port on it and do you have a usb printer or even one connected to a computer? How are you going to print it out via email? If you have a computer then the same user name / password that you log into FRF with your iPad will work.

The best thing to do is to print out the PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) check list and have it with you and have someone along with you that can take a video on your smart phone or iPad. And ask plenty of questions. If you have trouble understanding something, have the tech doing the PDI go over it again. Inspect everything. Ask about anything that you think might not look right. Turn on everything. Have the dealer fix anything that is broke or doesn't work.

The video will come in handy later when enough time has passed that your memory starts to get foggy and will document any problems you find.

Hope you enjoy your new 5er.
