Picking up our new 8329SS tomorrow

The wife and I will be picking up our 2018 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8329SS tomorrow. We will be replacing our 2002 Wilderness 27H. Looking forward to the upgrade.

We have a 2017 and love it! Took it on a 7600 mile round trip across country and were totally comfortable with 2 dogs. Welcome!!

Congrats on the new Rockwood! I hope the PDI goes well. Did you print a copy of the ODI checklist in the library here?

Thanks itat. The PDI went well and yes, I did print out the checklist. Got it home and set up and will start getting familiar with all of the systems.

Thanks jbu150. We really liked the floorplan and are looking forward to getting away and spending some time in it.

Congratulations

We have had our 8329ss for almost two years and love it. The floor plan is perfect for the two of us.

We are currently camping in Yellowstone NP, expecting some snow, and having a great time.

If you wish, check out my posts from last summer on some mods I did to mine.

Wishing you many enjoyable trips with yours.

Now that you have it home, don't forget to post some pictures.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and well wishes. I'm hoping to start using it in a couple weeks and really looking forward to it.

We purchased our 8329ss last spring and love it. Make sure you check the water lines and drain lines under the sinks. We had a couple water leaks to fix nothing major but something to check out. One drain connection was cross threaded and water lines not tightened correctly from factory. Watch out for the awnings in the rain and wind.... I pitch and tighten ours down especially if you leave the camper for a few hours and a storm would happen to blow in. Camped in it for two summers now and love it!

Have a great camping adventure. We have had the 5th wheel, 8299, similar to yours and think it is the best one we have ever had after about 8 different camping units. We do miss the lack of a pantry, though.
