Prest-O-Fit Step Covers for Oyster Rockwoods (others)

Just a heads-up that Amazon has had the Prest-O-Fit Step Covers in Harvest Gold color for $6.50 - $8.50 for the past couple of weeks (price fluctuates quite a bit). Only that and green have been on sale.

No idea how good these are, but this is a pretty good price for the covers. Most other places that have these are charging $16 - $20 each. Were just over $7/each when I bought 3. Here's a photo of my trailer with one of them installed. Decent match to the oyster color.

Again, not an endorsement ... just a heads-up on a good price for those who might be interested. (And, no, I don't get any sort of kickback.)

Good luck.

We ordered the ones mentioned by the OP when we took deliver of our new rig.
Thay lasted one summer and wore out on the edges.
At the beginning of last year we got the heavier duty Prest-O-Fit and they are working much better.

If you are looking to save some $, try the square stick ons indoor outdoor carpeting for .99 each. Found mine at Ollies. Great for the dogs as well since they don't like stepping on the metal. One square will cover 2 steps. I bought extra and have yet to replace them.

I bought the non-stick 36" x 36" (I think) carpet tiles which made 3 steps worth from Ollie's. then I stuck some 1" magnetic strip on the bottom. in the end I had to hot glue the magnet to the carpet bottom. I take them off when traveling but it's nice to just pull them off for cleaning and the magnetic holds well enough that the dog doesn't knock them off going in or out.

We went with the Wraparound in expresso for the front step and the Outrigger in chocolate brown for the rear step (less traffic). Seems to hide dirt better and blends nicely with the Oyster color.
