WELCOME one more thing HAVE FUN AND ENJOY YOUR NEW CAMPER looks like the little ones have moved in already. That was the best part for me when I brought ours home. The kids were camping out the first night in the drive. Now that was a big deal for them.
That is a really nice camper you picked up.

I told them they could sleep in it tomorrow after I get sheets and stuff. They didn't want to get out.

1 Oxgenitics Shower head/hose (Easy swap for the current one)
2 Extend-A-Shower Expanding Shower Rod - White Finish (The included screws will hold it if no one pulls on the curtain otherwise use plastic anchors).
3 A 1.5v LED puck light. Remove one of the screws on the shower skylight and run the screw through the base of the puck light then re-install the screw. More light in the shower at night.
4 A small portable 110v heater (ideally less than 1300w) as the bathroom is not heated. Just watch what else is running or you will pop the breaker.

Still have many little things I need to purchase before the first trip. Any suggestions on must haves are really appreciated. Also I'm in South Florida and want a cover but have mixed reviews on it. Is there a particular brand that does better in the south. Most I'm seeing are saying for cold winter climates.
I think you want to keep the sun off of your new trailer as much as possible; especially the tires. But, you need to select a cover with care. I think you want to be careful not to trap moisture against the trailer; so a breathable cover would probably be best. Hopefully you'll get some good input from some who live in your climate.

Survived my first outing with the new trailer!!!! Had a great time and the only hiccup was I bent the right rear stabilizing jack. Oh well, I will take that being the only thing that went wrong any day. Thanks for all the advice it sure did make my trip go easier.

It happened when I was getting to the camping spot. The area had a lot of dips and small trenches. Didn't see one of the dips till it was too late.

Next time out, weigh your set up at a public scale. I had my 2902SS hitched to my F150 and the scale numbers opened my eyes. I was slightly over on the rear axle (RAWR) and near my truck's payload cap and I only had a bin of firewood in the bed at the time. The DW and kid were in the store when I weighed it. I had the WDH connected at the time.

Steer: 3140
Drive: 3960
TT: 6040
Total: 13,140

Yeah I do need to get the weights for sure. My truck pulls it pretty well so far even with the bed of the truck loaded down. DuctTape was mentioned and I do have it stowed in the trailer, for that matter it's actually in the truck too lol.
