I think it's actually "off door side" which is in contrast to "door side". But, it in fact is on the "driver's side" as well - so probably either would work.
Guess that’s better than “the lights are on but nobody’s home”

BTW.....if in fact it for that outside light on the driver’s side, make sure you don’t leave it on by mistake. It’s kinda annoying for the person camped on that side of your rig if they appreciate controlling the amount of light on their campsite.
