Great suggestions. Thanks! Would really like to make it a charging station. Didn't know there was power nearby.

How about I remind you in 3 months or so? I would love that exact config but well outside my comfort zone.

I noticed Sam's Club was selling Command hooks the other day. I was really tempted but we already have a pretty good supply.

I saw a video that showed USB chargers installed there which would make it a great place for your phones but beyond that, not sure what purpose it could serve.

Thanks!
So...JaysFan64...I'm guessing you made up your mind on which unit to buy? 2109S? If so, good choice of unit!

Not quite yet. Just trying to make the short list even shorter lol. Hopefully we can maximize our time at the show on the 19th and focus on 5 models.

We opened up that bottom cabinet door below the stereo on our 2109s and put some shallow plastic-coated wire shelves/baskets in there. We used the shelves to store an extension cord; rolls of electrical, masking, duct, and Gorilla tape; lubricant spray cans; Command strips; extra finishing nails, screws; etc. That way we saved precious drawer space for utensils and other items used at every meal.

Ours has a door and holds an outlet for tv, antenna booster switch, usb charging, and an antenna direction finder which I added. Also keep the remotes there, but that's a 2015 year model. Guess you could add pockets for small item storage or a spice rack etc.

Using peel & stick Velcro, we store our ‘remotes’ in this open space- (easy to grab )

The compartment below this one makes a good liquor cabinet.
