Question Regarding 2109S Windshield Dimensions

Hi all,

Going to be picking up our 2021 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S next month; however, I would like to prepare in advance to protect the windshield for the drive home (>1,000 miles). Would anyone happen to have the exact dimensions? I'm looking for the width (maybe 64" or so), the height at the midpoint (maybe 36" or so), and the height at the ends... Do you have any protection on your windshield? I'm looking for something temporary to get it home, and then will look at permanent window protection film.

Thanks in advance!

I have a 2020 model if u think it’s the same size as urs I cud go measure it for u. I have no protection on mine. I am surely not worried about my front window. The window is a heavy glass and I think the truck wud deflect any rocks coming at it. We love the view out the window and surely wouldn’t wont to worry about removing a cover every time we get at a campsite. Of all the ones we have run across none had any type of cover. Each to his own though. Let me know if u want me to measure for u.

Thanks for the info. I see more and more folks talking about bad chips and cracks in their TT windshields. Guess I'll have to make sure that my insurance covers the glass at a lesser deductible.

Drove 1500 miles at speeds of 60, 65, and 70 mph, and the reflectix and suction cups held up perfectly!

Never had a suction cup fail. Did have a bit of flapping on the driver's side edge, but very tolerable.

I may make some larger 3" plastic washers (versus the 1" metal fender washers) for those ends to give more rigidity. Overall, I'm super pleased! Protected windshield, no bug guts to clean, and heat/light blocking to boot.

Ok ,So it looks like you put a screw though the suction cup then though the cover with the flat washer & nut ?
Great idea!

Yes, punched a small hole through the reflectix. Placed a fender washer on each side of the reflectix.

Window Cover

I like this approach. Think I would do something a little different with the velcro attachments.
