Rear Safety Wireless Camera with Furrion Mount

Looking to purchase a Rear Safety Wireless Camera model RVS-W-CAM for our 2015 Windjammer. The RV came wired and has the Furrion mount installed. Has anyone used another camera with the Furrion mount?? Looks like the Rear Safety Wireless Camera has good reviews and excellent customer service. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The mount is just a small cheap plastic thing. Look into getting the mount that matches the camera you buy. Then remove the Furrion mount and just reuse the wiring. My 2cents.

I agree, buy another brand, don't buy Furrion, I did & it would never work & Furrion would never respond to e-mails or phone calls (u have to leave a msg) it's going back.

Is this the mount that you are talking about? I was looking at it the other day, and wondering if it was for a rear camera and what type.

Yes that's exactly what I am talking about. It is pre-wired for a camera. It's wired into the running lights. That's the Furrion camera mount. You just remove it and hook up your camera to the wires. I'm not going with the Furrion camera because they don't seem to have good reviews. Check out Rear Safety wireless camera. They guarantee 70 ft no interference

Thank you! I was looking at getting a camera within the next few weeks. I will be checking out Rear Safety.

Rear Safety or Rear VIEW Safety? I have 2 RVS wired cameras and I like them very much.

Having this on the 5th wheel, how would this connect to the monitor in the TV? I would take it they connect through Bluetooth, and the camera connection is hard wired for power?

Look up Tadi brothers on web. Bought a whole system, camera and monitor from them at Hershey PA show last fall. Completely wireless and works great on my Mini Lite. I installed it myself at a trailer part. While the instructions were not great their phone support was quick and complete. Only $200 for the whole deal. They have quite a variety of equipment

The one I just bought comes with a 7 inch monitor that plugs into the cigarette lighter. I haven't seen a bad review yet . I should be getting mine today or tomorrow.

Model number RVS-CW-CAM. I ordered it yesterday and got it today. It shipped from Brooklyn NY and I live in NJ . They also price match. I saw it for $299.00 with free shipping on a website I called Rear View Safety and asked if they would match that price with free shipping and they did. Their website sells it for $349.00

the manufacture installed a rear safety monitor with matching camera in my 5er when it was being repaired at the factory. I like the system clear picture just have to have headlight on all the time that you want to use it. Its tied into the running lights.

Does anyone know if the Rear safety camera is only for back up or can you see behind you when driving down the road?

I'm pretty sure you can also see when you are going down the road. You can also add up to 4 cameras on the one I just received.
