Recommendations for TV Bracket in Bedroom

I just purchased a 2016 Rockwood 8286ws Ultra lite and I need to mount a TV bracket in the bedroom. Does anyone have a recommendation for what type and brand to use. Probably will put up a 15-17" TV.

The TV location in our bedroom only allowed for a 12 inch TV. And it was at a horrible angle. So I removed one cupboard door and made my own mount out of some aluminum angle and flat bar. That way I can get a 22 inch screen.

We have a 8280 and bought a wall mount at our dealer that mounts to the right of the bathroom door . It has a lock for travel and is able to be pulled out and turn . We have a 22" TV mounted there .

You can find many for that size TV. Check newegg.com and Amazon. Don't expect to pay more than $15 to $20. Any VESA 100 std bracket should work.

We may have overkill, but it is strong, locks in position, articulates and tilts. The TV is also easy to remove in a couple of minutes for winter storage. We have a 19" TV mounted and the mount will hold up to a 32". It is vesa complaint. We ran all of the wiring inside the wall.

Detachable Bedroom TV mount for RV

This is the one I used in my previous Dutchmen Kodiac. I liked it because it has a heavy duty latch that made it easy to remove and put back. Price was right also.

I was looking at mounting a TV in the front bedroom of our 8327SS. What do you use for screws/lag screws to go into the wall? It says there is backer board to mount to but the wall is not very thick.

The Master Mounts 403L was mounted in the BR of a 2500TS. Wood screws of appropriate length hold it to the wall and it supports a 12 volt 19" TV very well. There are two concerns when doing this: fully mounting the mount to the backer board and not damaging any wires that are in the wall. Hopefully some of the info below is helpful in your application.

We have a 12 volt cigarette lighter/coax connection in our wall in proximity to the TV location. This was unscrewed from the wall. DW let me use her compact mirror to look up inside the wall to see the backer board and to check the wires routed inside the wall.
I then took an aluminum yard stick, with a finger inside the wall holding it to the wall panel, pushed it up inside the wall until it bumped the backer board. A tape measure would work as-well. With that measurement, I measured up the outside of the wall and placed a piece of masking tape to mark the bottom of the backer board. Then measuring down from the ceiling, I moved over to where the TV mount would be placed and marked it with masking tape.

No wires interfered. The TV mount was attached to the wall. The length of the screw is the approx. 1/8" panel thickness plus 3/4" for the backer plus the thickness of the mount, probably about 1 1/4". The studding is about 1.5", so you do not want to penetrate the other side.

A household single coax hole wall plate (painted to match the mount) was used to mark the cable and 12V wire hole next to the mount. A bit larger hole was then drilled into the wall at the mark. The wires were fed through the wall and a coat hanger wire was used to catch the wires and bring them to the connection plate previously removed. The 12V wires were spliced in behind the cigarette lighter plug and a female to female coax connector attached the antenna connection. The wires to the TV set were attached to follow the articulating arm.

This is a very clean looking install. By disconnecting the 12V plug, the coax cable and removing 2 tilt knobs, the TV can be removed for winter storage. This is less than a 5 minute process.
