rockwood 1909S, can you see the TV from Sofa

We are now looking at a 1909S. I just thought of where the TV is located and wondering if anyone knows if you can see the TV from the sofa when the slide is out. That is one thing that I did not look into when we were at the dealership. Thanks for the help.

Thank you for the info. It seemed like a strange place to have the TV. So with I assume with the slide closed the view would be better. Thanks

Not really, they don't recommend using the "Slide Areas" when in the "Travel Position"! I would recommend going back to the Dealership and "Play House" have them run the slides in and out, this way you know what areas can be used while on a Trip without deploying everything! Refer,Bed,TV,Ect. Youroo!!

I have the predecessor 1809s which has the same interior lay-out. One can see the TV from the sofa with the slide out. You'll both be looking at from an approximate 2 o'clock position unless you are head-forward reclined. The TV pulls out from the wall and has some articulation side to side. You can't watch it from the bed if you use the street-side head/pillow orientation due to the fridge cabinet. Enjoy.

I seriously considered the 1909S, but? For the same reason you are now skeptical, we went with the 2109S. The 2109S was about the same weight too, but the tv location is one of the best I've seen in any line. You can watch from the sofa or left bed position. She watches from bed, me on the sofa usually.

Also, the North South walkaround queen was ideally suited for us. Actually, it was a must. *LOL*

Slight edit while thinking. IF they can give you a swing arm that moves out to the door, the angle MAY work so both can see from the sofa. Just a thought.
