How do I go about getting both 3 bunks and murphy bed

How do I go about this, My local dealer says it cant be done. That if you get the bed option they have to move the water heater to the rear and you lose the 3rd or lower bunk and you get a large storage compartment.

I am interested in any info you have to offer?

Thanks,
Ty

We pick up our 2306 tomorrow, we ordered the Murphy bed option but decided not to get the triple bunks. We kept the two there and we wanted the extra storage (we also only have one kid). It was offered to us to have triple bunks so I'm not sure what to say. In my mind the Murphy bed is the greatest thing Rockwood does. So nice to have a compact TT with so much lounge/living space, then when your ready to sleep throw down your bed. Have you called another Rockwood dealer? Someone should be able to help you.

Now that I think about it some more, it wouldn't matter if you had a Murphy bed or not. Either you have triple bunks, or double bunks and underneath storage. There would be nothing there to stop you from having that 3rd bunk......except a difficult dealer. Even on the FR website the specs say it can be done.

How do I go about getting both 3 bunks and murphy bed

The local dealer tells me that the water heater is moved from the front under the queen bed to where the 3rd bunk. The bottom bunk becomes the storage cabinet, leaving only 2 bunks.

It appears that the brochure shows that you can get both the triple bunk and murphy bed. Yet the dealer is telling me different.

I just dont see why you would sacrifice the 3rd bunk to do this?

Any info would help?

Thanks,
TY

We did not order ours yet. my wife has to decide what is more important, the triple bunk or the murphy bed? so this week end we are look at 2002 Shamrock 23bh which is the same lay out. Triple bunks and the queen bed. just so we have an idea then we will be placing the order for the 2306. The dealer says that it will take about 10 weeks for it to come in.

We are very excited!!!

I have the 2306 but I have the queen and not the murphy bed option.

From what I remember - I was told that if you order the murphy bed it takes all of the front underneath storage out and moves it to the back where the 3rd bunk was and also adds and outside door so you can get access to that storage area - I wouldnt be surprised that is where they move the hot water heater cause there isnt many other places to put it unless they took one of the storage cabinets - hence leaving you with no storage space
So your dealer may be telling you the truth for a change LOL

Well, I picked up our 2306 this weekend and absolutely love it. Your dealer wasn't lying though. Our hot water tank is under the bunks. Weird they never said that earlier. Go with 2 bunks and a Murphy bed, amazing set up
