Rockwood 2306 Owners. I have a leak

It’s behind the hotwater tank and I can’t see it. If I look under the camper towards the very back corner, to the right of the hot water heater if facing it. Underneath that area is leaking.

I took the wood divider off in that back outside compartment but can’t see the leak because its on the other side of the hot water tank.

I actually have a Flagstaff 23LB which is the sister to the 2306. I will post in that forum also but the 2306 is more popular so I started here.

I did turn off the city water.

I don't have your model so I'm not sure of the location of the components, but if your water filter is close, check it. They are notorious for loosening or cracking if water was left in and freezing.

To be clear, you see water leaking from underneath the camper onto the ground?

Yes. Dripping. There is an insulated part (or it seems) that is full of water on the underside of the camper. This is the far back right corner

I can see the filter and that doesn’t seem to be leaking but I will double check again in the morning

Does it drip only when the heater is on? Some do drip when heating. Mine does but it runs down the outside.

Unfortunately not. In that back corner on the underside, it’s like a water bed. I feel like I want to take a knife and slice it open to let the water out. Water has been off over night but there is still water there

That is just the "Coroplast Cover" drill a small hole for it to drain! Youroo!!

I think the coroplast cover is the enclosed underbelly part. This is not the area. It’s closer to the edge of the camper. Material is more like a rubber sheet

If available use a mechanical mirror (small mirror on a telescoping stick available at automotive parts stores) or use a small hand held mirror and see if you can get a view behind the water heater to get a better feel for what is going on behind it.

Back corner on the Underside to Me sounds like the Bottom!

I have figured out the problem and solved it (I think). The city water inlet hose was leaking but hard to tell. I had to get another hose clamp and use that.

One of those “where the water is, probably is not where it’s coming from.” Thanks for everyone’s suggestions. I did have to poke a hole in the membrane to drain the water

Now that you fix the leak, the real job is that you have to dry under all the place that the water whent otherwise the floor will delaminate and the corner of the trailer will split open next winter with the frost.
Use fan and dryer to do that.
You might have to remove the water heater or sommeting else.
A small hole onder the trailer is not good, Cut a large hole in that membrane!
You can fix later with Gorilla tape.

X2^^^ In addition the conditions will be perfect for mold to form under there, particularly black mold whose spoors are known to be toxic when inhaled.

If you have to remove the entire underbelly to dry it, that is not a bad idea. It will dry MUCH faster if you get a good airflow to it,

I’ve already cut some of the barrier (what is it anyway? Need to buy some) for the ride home today. Hopefully it gets a lot of airflow. This week i will take a hair dryer to it and then patch it back up

Not coroplast. If you look back a few posts you'll see that it is asked. This is farther out and toward the edge of the camper. More like a tarp like material.

You should not close the bottom yet.
Live it open for a couple of weeks.
It is not because it look dry that it is dry in dept of the floor composite and wall also.

I plan to leave it open this week and then when I camp this upcoming weekend I will be taking a blow dryer to it
