Rockwood 2306 table issues

So as far as I can see it is impossible to stand this table and have it flush to the window because of the wheel well. Something has to be missing or I have the wrong table. Can anyone shed any light on this?Click image for larger version

Unless there is a special table made for your TT and they put in the wrong one it looks like you may have to move one set of legs in a bit.

Typical limited thought engineering!

Yep, looks like it's not the right table for that model.
Is the trailer used?

Did you try turning it around. I have the same table setup in my microlite. I thought the same thing, then my husband took the table turned it around and it fit. I think one set of legs is screwed in further so it fits over the wheel well.

Sorry, I just looked closer at the legs. They weren't screwed in the right place on one side.

It's a brand new 2017 Rockwood 2306, it has about 6 marks were something was screwed into it but is not there now. I,m thinking it has 2 equal height legs for when it gets used outside if the trailer, and then should have another method of support so it can be used flush up to the exterior wall/window. I just can't see the final design blocks the walkway.

I think the table is from another model that has the dinette in another location.

Did you get a thorough PDI? This is something the dealer should have already taken care of when you picked up the trailer. It looks like the right table top and legs...they just screwed the legs on the wrong place. Mine are both inward...not on the very edge like yours.

My '15 is the same way. You either have the wrong table, or someone installed the legs in the wrong place. One side should be offset inward to allow for the wheel well.

Wrong table. Tell your dealer. Doesn't look like you can properly move the legs. On my 2014 2306 we have a totally different table. It has legs that let the table swing/pivot down to the lower position. Probably changed this at some point but your table is not right at all.

Wrong table?

It looks like the heavy stand-alone table that came with my 2109S model that has a jack-knife couch, not the dinette setup as in 2104.

Look at pics #25 and #26 in the link below. The outer legs by the window are clearly NOT at the end of the table, like the inside set is. You probably just need to turn the plate that the outside set is attached to by 180 degrees, but you'd need to measure the offset that you need to make sure. You MIGHT have to not only turn it around but move it more toward the center of the table.

Unless my dealer were close by, I'd fix it myself.

UPDATE: I just had a second thought:
If you just spin the plate around, the legs will want to fold to the outside rather than the inside. So you probably really need to just move entire plate inward an appropriate distance. I'm not sure how well they will fold up with the other set of legs if you do this. Make sure you try folding them before you run any screws into it. But I would assume the "correct" ones fold OK.

A bit off topic, but has anyone found a way to travel without folding the table down? I find that a nuisance.

Spending 42 seconds, at the most, to collapse and place the table is too much? I'm curious.

Do you plan on having things on the table while moving?

I'm baffled.

Looking at the pictures, I think I'd rather have a wall mount for internal use leaving one leg strapped up. Moving the leg in might make it unstable to use outside and may make folding the legs impossible because of overlap.

Ah-ha. I see something that may resolve this. In the photo I see something in the middle of the window lower frame that I don't have in my 2306. It just might be a support for the table if you fold one set of legs up. That might be the solution. Fold up the outside let of legs and support the table on that thing below the window. That just maybe a part of the window since my windows are different and I don't know what that thing is. Just a thought.

Had the same setup on our 2306. One leg was offset (flipped around from your pic) it was still a bit off the wall.

As for leaving it up, did it one time by accident and it busted up the legs. We made it work then switched to the post style poles and never put it down again.
