Currently in the market for a Rockwood UL 2440 or Sig UL 8244 (very similar models). We were leaning toward the 2440 last weekend, and were real close to buying it, when my wife pointed out that if we ever wanted to have anyone over to chat with our watch tv, that it wasn't a real friendly layout for guests. Not talking overnighters, but rather just someone for drinks or a movie if it were too hot or too cold outside. They would have to sit in the dinette and one of them would be forced to face away from the chairs/couch.
So we are now leaning toward the Sig UL 8280. One thing we really, really liked in the 2440 was the openness of the bedroom. Since it is just the two of us, having the curtain we could put out of the way was real nice.
